I can't agree more with the sentiments of the others who've posted here. You all just look SO HAPPY. I know that all babies have meltdowns, but looking at Elizabeth's smiling face makes it hard to imagine her crying! :-) Have a safe (and uneventful) flight home!
January 22, 2009 -- Elizabeth's first birthday and received all of our paperwork to come home!
January 12, 2009 -- received custody of Elizabeth!
January 10, 2009 -- Arrived in Vietnam
January 2, 2009 -- Acquired G&R date and will be travling over to be with her on her 1st birthday.
December 31, 2008 -- we learned that travel would be 98% possible for January. We are still waiting for the G&R and should have it on Friday (1/2)
December 6, 2008 -- awaiting Vietnam Social Services and Vietnam Dept. of Justice to resolve their differences so that we can complete the adoption and bring Elizabeth home.
November 22, 2008 -- Elizabeth turned 10 months old. Mary and I went shopping for things for the play area. We are still waiting. It is great to see that Samantha is home -- adoptions really do happen!!!
November 7, 2008 -- learned that our agent cannot travel to Hai Duong) -- hoping will be able to travel this week
November 1, 2008 -- flooding in Vietnam (www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapcf/11/02/viet.floods/)
September - November (Wait for G&R)
September 11, 2008 -- I-600 approved
August -- take finger prints again
End of July -- finger prints expired
June - July -- wait and wait
June 3rd -- I-600 accepted by the US Embassy in Vietnam
April - May -- fill out more paperwork and ensure paperwork is the correct form
April 4, 2008 -- Elizabeth Referal

Happiness must be contagious! Look at the smiles on ALL the faces!!! Does Elizabeth never frown?
